Proximity Compact is a single door acces control system. All the electronics are in the reader with two wires for connection from the power supply, two wires for connection to the lock and two wires for the exit button if required. Once installed, presenting the enrolment card from the card/token pack enrols all of the cards/tokens. Every user has a corresponding shadow card and presenting this to the reader deletes the token from the system. tokens can be "zoned" such that only red, green or amber tokens can go through certain readers on a site. |

| The Compact vandal resistant reader's cylindrical construction means that all the electronics are buried within the wall and an end cap is used to show the position to present the token. End caps are supplied with the reader in a choice of 8 colours. | |
